Why am I involved with the non-profit sector and what was the source of my desire to give back?
It starts with the tragic story of my sister-in-law, Leila.
Leila was married to a man who was abusive to her. To protect herself, she tried to run away from him, divorcing him and obtained a restraining order. She also contacted several non-profits in Sydney Australia to help her find shelter and protection.
Unfortunately, they didn't have the budget or resources to find her safe housing and protect her.
One day her ex found her at work, lured her down to the parking garage and killed her. Her death caused my wife and I so much grief and suffering and left us with the pain that seems unending.
That is when I got involved with a few non-profits. It didn't take me long to realize that most non-profits don't have a marketing system in place to keep a steady flow of donations coming in.
Without the support of money from the community, their impact is limited. They can't do what they need to save lives and do their necessary work.
I have also noticed that most non-profits are not up-to-date with technology, in contrast to for-profit companies.
Because of that, they suffer and can not reach out to new donors and supporters. Expanding their donor base is such a necessary part of their operations to make a greater impact on the work they do.

I realized that I was running a profitable marketing agency, but remember Steve Jobs once remarked: “We’re here to put the dent in the universe. Otherwise, why even be here? For me, the desire to make more of a dent in the universe has promoted after I lost my loved one Leila and I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. It has become my mission to help non-profit organization that is entrepreneurial, open to change and hungry for growth so they can impact more.
That is when Nonprofit CLUB "Charity" was born. My goal is to help expand nonprofits and charities by developing revolutionary software and marketing training that helps them grow 10 times faster than normal so that they can have 10 times more impact on what they do.
